MS Sedco Introduces the 216TX:
The World’s First Touchless Wireless Switch

MS Sedco recently introduced the 216TX, which combines all the versatility of wireless with the hygienic and anti-microbial benefits of a touchless switch.

The 216TX features all the benefits associated with MS Sedco’s ClearPath™ line of wireless products: field selectable frequencies, a minimum of 1-second transmission time, and a two-piece surface box which allows for easy access to the battery. Like the standard 216, the maximum range for hands free detection of the 216TX is adjustable. The 216TX is microprocessor controlled, allowing for superior operation in a smaller unit.

The 216TX gives users the ability to replace hard-wired traditional touch switches with touchless switches, without having to pull additional wires to each switch.

The hands-free operation of the 216TX makes them ideal for ADA applications and locations where hygiene is important such as restrooms, health care facilities or clean rooms. The unit ships complete in a 1020 surface box with the transmitter included.

The slim-line, completely surface-mounted solution

HES 9400 slim-line electric strikes ship fail secure, but are quickly and easily converted to fail safe in the field by moving two selector stop pins located inside the strike body. The ADA EZ is a battery-operated door opener that makes life easier for the disabled and for the installer. Most people who approach the opening will manually open the door which will actually charge the battery in this heavy duty, compact unit. Then when someone who is physically challenged uses the weather proof pushbutton to activate the door opener, the ADA EZ is ready to go!

Even though this product looks small, it is really strong. It can handle a door up to 48″ in width and up to 250 lbs. in weight, and it’s been tested to one million cycles! It’s been engineered so that there is no load on the gear at all and the closer arm is so strong that you can actually do pull ups on it. This makes it ideal for high traffic applications, and because of its compact size, it is great for retrofit situations where there may not be a lot of room.
